The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is teaming with the Department of Energy and Military Services to launch a series of hydrogen fuel cell projects at three major DLA Distribution warehouses and a Department of the Army installation. These pilots are focused on investing to create early market opportunities for cutting edge alternative energy technologies. In total, the two-year projects will be putting in place 99 fuel cell forklifts, one fuel cell bus, as well as an infrastructure for successful hydrogen fuel delivery, storage, and dispensing.
